Grand Station
Title:  Grand Station
Description:  The Crawford Notch station, known as Crawfords in the MEC timetable, was built in 1891. Once seeing passenger trains of both MEC and B&M, this was an important stop for visitors to these mountains as well as to the Crawford House, a large hotel that once stood next door. The station still sees trains of the Conway Scenic Railroad but the once great MEC passenger trains and long freights struggling up the grade through here are a thing of the past.

Old Roundhouse
Title:  Old Roundhouse
Description:  The old Bartlett roundhouse was built between 1887 and 1888 by the Portland & Ogdensburg Railroad for the purpose of housing and servicing pusher locomotives for heavy freight and passenger trains on the Maine Central's Mountain Division. Two stalls were demolished in the 1950s as the importance of this yard declined. Currently the Bartlett Roundhouse Preservation Club seeks to restore the old building back to its former glory as it is one of the last roundhouses surviving from that era.
