On this misty morning, they're rounding the Curve on their way up the Allegheny Mountains to the Cresson Branch where they'll pick-up a fully-loaded mineral train and move it down "The Mountain" to the Altoona Receiving Yards. Notable here is the cabin car: it's the PRR's one-of-a-kind N-5E #477594 built in the ACS in October, 1929. Many thanks to Mr. Anthony Zinskie for identifying this car correctly. |
