Description:  Built by Baldwin in 1929 for the Grand Truck Western as their 8376, the loco was retired in 1958 but purchased by Northwestern Steel and Wire to serve them until 1980. Although no relation to Illinois Central, it does look the part sitting next to the Amboy depot.

Now it is a static display next to the Illinois Central Amboy depot in an area that once contained a large yard for the IC Northern Division.
