| The evening sun was fading fast as the northbound F&P excursion was making its last lap from Tinsman (on the former Rock Island Lousiana Mainline) to Fordyce (14 miles). The train was crossing Whitewater creek trestle some 5 miles north of Tinsman. The F&P consisted of this 14 miles of former RI mainline plus the entire Crossett Branch from Tinsman to Crossett with the last five miles being on trackage rights over the AD&N into Crossett. |
