This RDC1 was built by the Budd Company in 8/1951. After this RDC1 unit served the Lehigh Valley, it was saved from scrapping and has been preserved in the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, PA. Note on the back of the photo states that the LV station in Hazleton, PA, was razed in October of 1963. No date was listed so an approximate one was used. This is a C.L. Andrews photo. |
