PRR 5916, BS-10, c. 1963         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5916, a BS-10 switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in September of 1943, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and retired in June of 1964 after 21 years of faithful service. This is one of the very first diesel-electric locomotives purchased by the Pennsy. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Tchowee"; #19 of 36)
