Amtrak SDP40F 508         
Amtrak SDP40F 508 at about 22nd Street in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. There's a SW1 at the other end. This is a switching move across either Alton Junction or Fort Wayne Junction (depending on who you talked to) and the track has recently been rebuilt. Think they used enough rail joiners?
