Pulling For You Arkansas Style         
Another take on the SCL "Pulling for You" slogan on a billboard in Arkansas. I guess whoever put this up decided that all the units had to have low noses and most renumbered. The reason for the renumbering is a mystery. Who knows which unit is the only "real" one?

Bill Pollard General This billboard was part of a statewide campaign by the railroads to improve their public image as they tried to persuade the publc to vote for Initiated Act 1, an act to repeal the Arkansas Full Crew Law. Railroads had attempted repeal on several other occasions, but were successful in what was a very bitter political campaign. 2/24/2012 12:46:57 AM
