| MP SD50 5029 at Cotter, Arkansas on July 17, 1986, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 5029 was the trailing unit on a coal train destined for a power plant in Newport, Arkansas. I'm not sure of the details, but this train arrived two days earlier and parked in Cotter. Not wishing to walk a mile to get to the Cotter depot, the head-end crew cut off their train and ran around it, parking the power next to the caboose. |
