Here is a 1907 Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) built, Frisco class 1400 locomotive, serial #32343. It had 69" drivers and generated a boiler pressure of 200 psi for its 23"x26" cylinders. The engine weight was 194,450 lb and it could apply a tractive effort of 33,887 lb. The Frisco shops superheated the class in 1929. Date is approximate - unknown location and photographer. |
