One of the projects NYSW engaged during its reign over the D&H was to have some of the GP 38s and 39s rebuilt by M-K at Mountain Top PA. The first one to be completed, ex LV unit 7312, was back on the property in March of 1990, and named in honor of legendary D&H engineer Bernie OBrien. We see a side view of the unit outside the East Binghamton engine shop. |
