| Pullman Plan #3523C 6 compartment-3 drawing room (6C-3DR) sleeper GLEN SUNSET, built in November 1928 in Lot #6182, 1 of 22 such cars built in that Lot; 2 were built for the C&NW's NORTH WESTERN LIMITED, and the other 20, including the GLEN SUNSET, were built for the 20th CENTURY LIMITED. Retained by Pullman at the 12/31/1948 divestiture, repainted from Pullman Green to Two-Tone Gray in December 1954, and sold for scrap in April 1964 to Hyman-Michaels. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date and photographer are unknown. |
