PRR Westbound Yards, c. 1915
Old Time PRR. Here is a postal card view that was taken in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, during the early 1900's. Looking toward Hollidaysburg from Bald Hill, the Pennsylvania Railroad's Eastbound Receiving Yard is to the left, the coaling wharf and roundhouse are in the center, while the Westbound Classification Yard is at the far right. All of them were built around 1903. Faintly visible in the middle-right distance is the clock tower atop the Blair County Court House.
