Old Time PRR. Here is an aerial photo of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, taken on 23 October 1938. To the West/left is Pittsburgh, to the East/right is Philadelphia, in the center is the Pennsylvania Railroad's roundhouse. Not only is it in the center of the west- and eastbound classification yards, it is in the virtual center of the photo. Could one say that the Railroad was the real "heart" of Hollidaysburg?
