| Here is another view of the Great Northern E7A #509 in the St Paul train sheds. The loco was built by EMD in June of 1945 (serial #2437) as GN 504B. It was renumbered first 504C in 1950 and then 509 in 1952. Eventually it became BN #9907. The loco was retired and sold to Naparano Iron & Metal on 4/12/1974. No photographer was listed for this sharp photo made from the original negative. |
