Built by Alco in October of 1956 as Erie Mining Co #312, it was later renumbered 7212 as pictured here. The loco later passed into the hands of LTV Mining as their #7212 and finally ended up at Morristown & Erie #7212 where the loco finally died. Technically, the reporting mark for Erie Mining Company is "ERIE" but several have used the "EMCO" mark so I will list it both ways. O.Leander photo |
