NOPSI 811
New Orleans Public Service streetcar 811 was outbound on the TULANE BELT on Loyola Street (now South Saratoga Street) at Cleveland Avenue. TULANE cars operated on Loyola Street for two blocks, from Canal Street to Tulane Avenue, until they were replaced by trolleybuses on 8 January 1951. The large building behind the car was a part of the former Elks Lodge at 127 Elks Place, and originally contained an auditorium and a swimming pool; while the building on the very left was the Krauss Department Store at 1201 Canal Street.
