Rob Furney Jr General Is this the old PRR one? Kinda looks like it. 4/13/2005 3:16:01 PM
BandA Fan General According to Pinkepank, the PRR never owned a 60t I-R. There were 26 built and they were scattered among 13 owners, CNJ, B&O, ERIE, DL&W, C&NW, LV, the rest to industrial Co's. without a subsstantiated pedigree, it would be hard to say who the origional owner of this particular unit was. 9/7/2006 9:07:56 AM
Peter Benham General Dieselshop.us has this as former Union Carbide 11, but I suspect it was bought second hand from Ingersoll-Rand. See the fine book "Dawn of the Diesel Age" by John F. Kirkland. It is out of print, but can be found in the resale markets on line and elsewhere. 6/20/2009 5:46:06 PM
