Title:  MCR 2-6-2 #25 - McCloud River RR
Description:  Looking like a wintry photo from the early 1900's, this was actually taken in 1966. Purchased new from Alco-Schenectady in 1925, this loco served the McCloud River RR and McCloud River Rwy before being sold to the Oregon Coast Scenic RR in March of 2011. Along the way, the photogenic locomotive starred in three movies - Bound For Glory, Stand By Me, & Changeling. It continues to provide excursion service at its new home in Oregon. Unknown photographer.

Description:  GARIBALDI OR Aug 19 2011 -- McCloud River Railroad No.25 now pulls trains on the Oregon Coast Scenic. In this photo the loco is ready to depart Garibaldi at 4 p.m. for its journey to Rockaway Beach. I believe this locomotive is an excellent addition to this tourist operation. A woman with my wife and I on this one-day trip to the coast thought it was brand new.
